I work in porcelain, throwing bowls, disks and cylinders which are assembled to create a vessel. The surface decoration is bold bands of black velvet glaze which contrasts strikingly with the white porcelain body. The interiors often feature a brightly coloured glaze.
Much of my childhood was spent in Africa and Kuwait and I have translated this experience into a personal, creative and contemporary statement in my work.
